Lots of people thought "Well, this poor woman... she clearly just needs help getting a job.  And maybe some cash to tide her over."

So they gave her $114,000 in donations.  Yeah.  $114k for leaving two babies in the hot sun.  And prosecutors told her if she set this money aside for her babies, they'd drop charges.  And the kind people who sent this also lined up a whole lot of interviews for her.
