Maybe not prom per se, but now's about the right time for homecoming.  I knew a few girls in high school who went pretty overboard for that, too.

My daughter would, if she thought she could get away with it. I'm trying to train her out of hyper-consumerism, but the process is slow since her priorities are all jumbled up and she was raised in a very un-Mustachian environment.
