I found this gem, on sale today for half off! I can save almost $1000 on my watch-winding budget!

I knew that there was such a thing as watch collectors, and that they spend way too much way too often on their "timepieces". But this sucker is beyond the pale. It holds up to six watches and winds them each exactly 900 rotations per day.
Currently the "deal" is 43% taken.
Hahahahahahahaha!
I also saw magnetic eyelashes and "premium" cat scratchers and dishwasher magnets. It's worse than going to a mall.
What "deals" did you find?

I guess, at least, at a bare minimum, most of those high-end watches somewhat retain resale, or even go up a bit. So making sure they stay working could be worth "some" money. $1900 seems insane though. Everything else basically become worth exactly $0 the minute you unwrap it though.

For cat scratching purposes, and for actual use, we bought an armchair a while back at our local university scrap and salvage. It was 5 bucks, so it costs less than a lot of cat scratchers we've seen around. We just let the cat use that chair, and shoo her away from the rest of the furniture.
Can you see the "deals" if you're not a prime member? I've been staying away so I don't get tempted. I have to resist going overboard on Christmas. So I think I'll just stick to seeing the funny ones here.

For cat scratching purposes, and for actual use, we bought an armchair a while back at our local university scrap and salvage. It was 5 bucks, so it costs less than a lot of cat scratchers we've seen around. We just let the cat use that chair, and shoo her away from the rest of the furniture.

If I wasn't lazy I would post a picture of the rolled-up carpet we got for free roadside that is used exclusively for cat scratching. We do the same thing- cats can scratch there but they get in trouble anywhere else. It's worked out pretty well. We also don't have "nice" furniture to stress out about if they do cause irreparable damage. Plus I think we've spent a grand total of <$200 over the last decade. Another reason not to buy into the high-end furniture mentality.

I can get $100 off my mother's Christmas present if I spend $100 on Prime membership...Except they also jacked up the price in order to offer the discount...

Also, had to look up a watch winder. No idea that existed. Was only barely of self-winding watches. I don't wear a watch but have several ~100 year old pocket watches that I occasionally pick from to carry. Not expensive though.

Maybe facepunch-worthy. Bought a Vitamix on Black Friday from Amazon. (did not buy a trinket)
Our existing ~15 year old Oster isn't grinding well. We're big on buying good quality long-lasting products.
