Your link doesn't seem to be working. I read about this on the Yahoo! homepage and the report was that the woman, immediately, upon winning with her nephew announced to him and the crowd that she was going to sue him.
Based on that behaviour, I think what she has to lose is family and community relationships more so than money.
If what she says is true and she clearly expressed all this to her nephew in advance (i.e. I am not planning to share jackpot with you but am nonetheless putting your name on the ticket for good luck), just IF it is accurate... why wouldn't she discuss this privately with her nephew? If that was their deal, why assume immediately that a lawsuit is the right approach? It just seems completely over the top! I can't see any good coming of this.
