I dunno about the rest of y'all, but whenever I read or hear anything about the fashion world, I get about five words into it before it morphs into Charlie Brown's teacher ("wah-wuh-wah-w-wah-wah").  Same goes for modern art.

BRB, gotta show this to my dad and tell him that his cheap loafers from Kohl’s aren’t acceptable dad wear. Then I’ll have to wait for him to stop laughing.

I literally had to look at the address bar to make sure I wasn't looking at the Onion.  But then I had to remind myself that the fashion world gathers little satire, because how do you parody something that has already reached the limits of ridiculousness?

This absolutely does not apply to my dad.  He's 81 years old and still loves fashion.  Wouldn't be caught dead in either denim of white sneakers.  Loves a well tailored suit, bright colors and a dapper tie.  I've only ever seen him in jeans once -when he was painting his house many years ago.  And I've never seen him in sneakers.

How do these people afford the nearly new 40000 sq ft house with granite, tile and stainless steel appliances - with two new cars sitting outside, 60" TV, resort vacations and $1000 shoes while they raise children? ;)
