I have a friend who is firmly not mustachian. I've tried helping and explaining. I gave up tonight when she called all excited about going on a New Kids on the Block cruise. BUT YOU DON'T HAVE A JOB!!!!!!!

How much does such a thing set you back? Just curious. I've always been intrigued by these cruises with celebrities, or should I say pseudo-celebrities, since I doubt that many A-list celebrities would do such a thing. It's just such a strange phenomenon. I guess it makes sense that you could spend the entire trip with other die-hard fans like yourself, although just because you both like a certain band or comedian or NPR radio host doesn't mean you will be friends with these people. And how much exposure do you really get to the actual "celebrity."
A New Kids on the Block cruise sounds like a circle of hell to me.

There's some kind of reality show that follows the cruise, right? Maybe watching that can scratch your friend's itch for a fraction of the cost.

When she told me about it, I thought "I wouldn't go if you gave me twice the ticket price."
