Since Mustachianism favors buying used, you certainly CAN get a Mustachian Ferrari.
Say you're already financially independent. AND you're into cars. Track, autocross, long drives on twisty roads.

The ultimate Mustachian Ferrari would be a 360 Modena. Modern looks, easy maintenance that doesn't require removing the engine every 10K miles to replace timing belts, etc.

Can be had for between $60 and $90K used (closer to the latter figure if you want a convertible in Resale Red)
Pay cash, realize that you bough a depreciating asset, but you don't care because it will in no way impact your quality of mustachian life - you've saved more than enough.

Except that with higher-end cars, there's often a point where they turn into collectables and start appreciating.  For instance

Yep, but those were limited releases, < 500 produced in the entire run.
The fact that over 12,000 F360's were made is what makes them so cheap.

Yes it appreciates, but...  I bought a mid-year Corvette for $10,500 and sold it 22 years later for $31,500.  Sounds good.

Now, factor in insurance, registrations, upkeep, new brakes, rebuit motor, suspension, winshield (hard to see out of it after so many years of bugs smashing into it).  I might have broke even.  Yes, I did enjoy it, but am glad I sold it and put the money on my mortgage to become DEBT FREE!

Sure, but you would have had to pay similar expenses no matter what car you drove.  So you broke even, where with a mass-market car (even a string of several, bought used), you would have been out of pocket, and had less fun.
