Los Angeles bar has a water tasting menu, a water sommelier and a $40 bottle of water.

L.A.’s Ray’s & Stark is really into the water. The bar offers $12 "water flights" that include three varieties of water. They also have a 45-page water menu. The most expensive bottle costs $40.

The water brands come from all over the world. They even serve a local variety called Beverly Hills 9OH2O.

If you think that paying $40 isn't exclusive enough, you can visit the Adlon Hotel in Berlin (Germany). In 2003 their most expensive water on the water menu was Rokko No Mizu at 62 Euros for a half liter bottle. It's probably more expensive these days.

Wow, crazy that there's a market for this!

Having said that, I do actually think not all water is equal. I love the tap water where I currently live, it tastes so clean and refreshing, but when I went interstate recently I found the tap water there wasn't as nice. So to be honest I think it would be interesting to taste different waters... but no way would I be spending that kind of money!

And it's probably all tap water from the garden house around back, with a fancy logo. LOL. I'm sure the sodium fluoride is no extra charge.

Don't laugh.  I have really good well water, while my friends have a lot of iron & sulfur in theirs.  So every time I go out to visit them, I take along about 10 gallon water bottles filled from my well.

Get some fancy bottles and a nice label and sell it like it's going out of style. It's a million dollars waiting to happen.

Well, maybe not a fountain of youth, exactly, but my neighbor has been living here and drinking the water since about 1960.  He'll be 99 next month, and still has all his marbles, and is healthy enough to do yard work & play with their dogs.

Now my other neighbor, who drinks mostly cheap beer (Budweiser), and lots of it, looks about the same age, and enjoys similar health, despite being about 30 years younger.
