Laziest Person in the World
« on: August 05, 2016, 07:57:44 PM »
Today I saw perhaps the laziest person in the world.

He drove his clown car to pick up his mail...the mailbox is, get this, two houses away from his own.
It literally took him longer to drive there than it would have taken if he'd walked...he had to wait for traffic when he backed out of his driveway then he had to do a five point turn to get his clown car turned back around for the 3 second return trip to his own driveway.

An able bodied twenty something twit.

Has anybody else seen a lazier person than that?

A few months ago, I watched a couple kiss-and-hug-goodbye in a residential driveway. Then one of them drove out of the driveway and parked in the driveway across the street.  The car probably moved no more than 50 feet.

I have mentioned this before, but it will stick with me forever. Our neighbor used to drive her two healthy, teenage girls to the school bus stop, every morning. The bus stopped in front of their house, about 75' from their garage door. I think it actually took more effort to open the garage door, and climb in and out of the car, than it would of to just take the fifteen second stroll to the bottom of the driveway, WTF?

Back when I was in college there was a student that drove from class to class.

This was a small state university where you could literally walk across the entire campus in maybe 12-13 mins. She ran up over a thousand dollars worth of tickets and (so the story was told) complained at the end of the semester. She had been repeatedly warned by the campus police. Most tickets were $10-$15 back then.

Her mother got involved and once she realized what she had done, told her she would work them off over the summer.

There be stubborn people out there.
