oo that's a little harsh. He just says what we're all thinking about those talentless "performers" who dare to go on Idol/X Factor/Voice/Pop Star/[insert wannabe celebrity show here].
If I had to listen to 1000's of pitchy, tone deaf, ugly contestants I would let off a few nasty remarks too!

You're blaming his work environment - which he deliberately chose and clearly enjoys - for his inability to act like a human being toward other human beings? Fuck that guy, seriously. If I were king for a day, his new job would be Soylent Green. ;)

I've known about this guy for years. D-bag is an accurate description. Don't expect to ever make money like he does unless you are using the same brokers he uses. Which is pretty tough, because the brokers he uses want you to buy/sell tens of thousands of shares or more a month. Most brokers don't have the shares available to short these penny stocks. And even then, at this point I wouldn't put it past Tim to front-run all his subscribers' trades and use them to make money. He's the biggest of sleazebags no matter how good of a trader he really is.

Ditto. Hysterical book though. I'm a former very fearful flyer and that book got me through a 2 hour delay on the tarmac without losing my mind.

His book is fucking hilarious. Let's be real here. Nobody cares if it's fact or fiction or what percentage of each, it's hilarious. So's the second.

My favorite Belfort quote, "Smart people don't buy penny-stocks." Well duh... Yet even after watching Wolf of Wall Street people still flock to people like Belfort and Sykes, because they want to 'be' like them... without realizing the only reason these guys are rich is because of the morons they feed off of.
This is the game every penny stock trader, ponzi scheme, pyramid scheme, etc. feeds off of. "Look this guy got rich doing this. I'm going to do it too." :facepalm:
