Just posted on Slashdot. Poor guy had to move to Malaysia to live on such a tiny salary. Hell, I'm "getting by" on $11,500 a year in total spending and that includes my mortgage.

I didn't take it to mean that he had to, but rather, chose to.  Smart move if you ask me.

He looks rather happy in the photo. Sure, he could get by on less both here and in Malaysia, but I don't think he's antimustachian by any means.

I'm pretty sure 16k can go farther in Malaysia than here, which can be pretty nice.

I dunno.  I'd think that after 5 months of Malaysian heat & humidity, Michigan would start looking pretty attractive :-)

Being able to walk around in a tank top and flip flops all year long beats any other kind of climate in my book. Keep your Christmas-y snowfalls and crisp autumn airs!
