Future self went shopping!!!

Checked my bank account this morning and there was a transaction for roughly $6 from a supermarket. It doesn't say the transaction is pending or processing. It actually is completely posted.

Note, today is May 24, 2015.
Transaction posted June 3, 2015!!!

Actually, not to the same extreme time-wise, but much greater $-wise, I logged on to my bank account on Saturday, and it also reflected a posted transaction - a deposit - for Monday May 25.  But it was still the 23.  Which was weird.

Good thing future self is so thrifty--$6 is a pretty good grocery tab.

I'm willing to bet there are deposits from future self too. You just might have to wait until Friday. Or next Friday. Those ones may not be future-dated, but cash is cash right?

That's incredible.  It's like the time that my friend found out she spent $800 at a drug store and she never even went there!  She was so amazed that she called and cancelled her credit card. :-P

Oh yeah, that happened to me too! Except my purchase was at a Brazillian online retailer I'd never heard of.

Luckily, the purchase is from a store my SO goes to. So I do know it's not fraud. Still very odd thing to find when you look at your bank account.

My Mint account once showed a $6 billion dollar pending deposit. Sadly, it never finalized.

$6 Billion would be a nice bump in the old account.  I once recieved an invoice at the office that referenced a multi-billion dollar deal the company did--I have to take a minute to count all those zeros, woah!
