And at least you get to own your tires when you rent to own.  In the other thread, it was just rental right?

I didn't go any further than the title. Americans are screwing themselves. Basic math fail, and if you can't afford to maintain a vehicle, you can't afford the vehicle.

This article was mostly about how tires have risen in cost over the years.  But as a result of this cost increase mixed with consumers unwillingness to change their lifestyles, you now see exactly what this thread is about.
