Dangling on the Edge of Financial Ruin
« on: November 14, 2014, 06:40:21 AM »
http://finance.yahoo.com/news/nearly-half-us-dangling-edge-210100283.html

"20% of those surveyed who make more than $200,000 per year, said they save rarely, inconsistently, or not at all. One in four consumers with a graduate degree actually couldn’t miss a single month of paychecks without having to borrow or sell assets."

Wow, one in five would rather go to the dentist than to spend 30 minutes learning financial literacy...yet that is exactly what causes these problems.  Otherwise, not very surprising.

"The study put some of the blame for Americans’ failure to save on a lack of financial skills."

Some of the blame? SOME of it?!?! Are you friggin' kidding me? If you're blowing 200 grand a year and not saving anything it is 100% your fault for being an idiot.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
