More useless stuff: the banana bunker
« on: June 13, 2012, 11:22:51 AM »
For those two missed it on Monday night's Colbert Report: http://www.colbertnation.com/the-colbert-report-videos/415113/june-11-2012/-banana-bunker--tutorial

My favorite part is "the banana bunker pays for itself in only 64 bananas!"

Personally I use bubble wrap to keep my bananas from getting squished when they're in my bike pannier.

Haha!
We usually have nanners at work so I don't have to bother with buying any unless I want to make banana bread. I usually don't do that because I have to make it gluten free and that stuff is expensive.

This is a completely stupid product. In other words, there's probably a huge market for it. I hope the inventors of this are raking in the money and retiring early.

Hah, I saw that Monday and thought about how ridiculous it was... I actually thought about what this forum would think :)

If it weren't for Colbert, the banana bunker would have been just one of thousands of stupid overpriced products. Now there's a fairly good chance of it becoming a trendy hipster item - kind of like those ridiculous retro headsets for iPhone.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
