What are your thoughts?  Would you spend $180.00 for a cooler that has not been made yet?

I am not be cocktails-on-the-beach-guys, beer would be sufficient for me ;-)
This guy has some nice ideas about a cooler. There is a potential market for this, and prices may decrease over a while.
If I would live in the US, have some kids and doing outdoor-activities with hoards of kids every weekend, this might be a good solution. I would pay $180.00 for a kickstarter-cooler.

I'll only buy it if it runs linux and I can write my own programs for it. Does it have an ICDI port, or do I have to use JTAG? I'd also prefer if it used an x86 atom, though I guess I could make do with a four-year-old 32-bit arm core.

A cooler with speakers and a blender?!  I wouldn't buy this but a lot of my family lives on or near water and I might have to slip this idea to them so I can enjoy it when I visit ;-)

People spend $400 on YETI coolers all the time. And all it does is keep your stuff cold.  But it does stay cold.......
