A girl I know was complaining on FB about not getting a gold iPhone too...I don't get it. Especially as I know she gets a new iPhone every time they come out with one...which I really don't get.
ETA: Also, don't most people put protective cases on their smartphones anyway?? I can't remember when I last saw an iphone out of its case, aside from in an Apple store.

Every day I am more and more convinced that the United States, and probably a few other first world nations, are totally fucked. I mean seriously. What is going to happen when this person has to face some sort of actual adversity?

but yeah... aside from my dislike of apple products (I like to tweak), I don't see the draw of each new phone... I figured people should at least wait 2 years until the contracts are up but no... but I'm running a touch pro 2 (I like it)

I know, I used to be that guy with the crazy case but then I realized it totally defeats the purpose of buying a small phone that is aesthetically pleasing. Plus modern cases don't really protect from screen cracks anyways.
Maybe I should start selling a phone with no built in case, just raw electronics, and then you can choose between different case options

I wonder if its because shes already identified herself inwardly and outwardly as an owner of a gold iphone. Now that at least 5 other people have a gold iphone and she doesn't, she perceives herself to be treated as a second class person and even identifies herself as one because she doesn't have the phone. Sad.
