Tonight I'm planning to go pick up a used trek road bike off craigslist for $600. Asked my neighbor if they want to ride with me. Conversation goes:
Me: I'm going to pick up a bicycle tonight. Would you like to ride along?
Neighbor: Sure. What store ya going to?
Me: I'm getting a used one off craigslist.
Neighbor: How much? Why not buy a new one?
Me: $600
Neighbor: $600!!!! For a used bicycle!!!!
Me: Yeah, I've been looking for a good used road bike. I found a trek that's pretty local.
Neighbor: That's alot for a bike!
Me: Well, how much is your car payment?
Neighbor : $523.00
Me: oh!
Neighbor: How much is yours?
Me: ZERO!!!!! (With a smerky laugh!)
