All anecdotal statements and " I knew a friend who knew a friend who..." littered all around.

it is even more annoying, since it is from India. A country where EVERYONE is aware of "REAL" poverty, even the so called young, urban, keeping up with the ambani crowd. Whiny article from an author who is usually astute. Ughh
