Just biked for the first time to work (downtown Chicago) after 2 years of working here. (hangs head in shame). The commute time for the 6 miles was shorter than waiting and taking the bus or waiting and taking the train. And I found out we have a secure storage room for bikes in the parking garage and that I can save on all sorts of personal care products by showering at the gym at work. I've been wary because driving in Chicago is a bit crazy like any big city and I've had friends that have been hit a few times. and we have assholes like these guys.
