Title: Awesome Truck!
Post by: zephyr911 on July 16, 2015, 08:14:49 PM
Don't remember why, but I found this during an image search:

For sale? Guess they can't afford fuel no' mo'....

At least it appears to be hauling a large garbage dumpster into which the new owner may as well throw all of their money.

Looks like a normal Suburban with a crap-ton of modifications. If they needed/wanted something beefy like that they should have just purchased a C4500. Would have been cheaper and more capable.

I think it's a heavy-duty (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Truck_classification#Heavy_duty) chassis (like a dump truck or 18-wheeler -- that would be even heavier-duty than a C4500) with a Suburban body grafted on to it. The large side steps / fuel tanks give it away; even class 6 medium-duty trucks don't have those.

I'm actually pretty impressed. Usually shitty car mods are, like, a plywood spoiler or something. This, at least, took some doing.

Anything that large without a dump is such a waste. I've seen a few F650 boy toy trucks around my area, its what all the jacked up F350 dual stacked truck owners wish they could borrow on credit.

Beyond the obvious "huh" factor when I see these things I can't help but picture the shortest man on earth exiting down a staircase like a little Napoleon with a puffed out chest.
