Atlanta: Help the environment with gasoline delivery!
« on: May 15, 2016, 07:00:12 PM »
New in Atlanta: if your car commute is so long that you don't have time to be bothered with the major inconvenience of stopping for gas, you're in luck.

The company is actually marketing this as a safe and environmentally friendly alternative to going to the gas station.

Oh, yeah, I did hear a radio ad for one of those gas delivery services in Atlanta recently.  It was on 97.9 the OG, spoken by a famous rapper -- if I recall correctly, it could have been Ludacris.

Edit:  Oh, my bad.  The service I heard Ludacris advertising is Roadie, which actually looks like it could be pretty useful.

Somehow, the idea of buying anything being hawked by someone named "Ludacris" isn't working for me. The juxtaposition is just too much...

Step 1. Sell gas guzzler
Step 2. If feasible buy bike
Step 3. If step 2 doesn't work buy a Leaf for your commute
Step 4. Plug in at home

And that saves you $15 per month right there, you pollute less and you have lower operating costs.

Irony aside, who would be stupid enough to pay $15 just to have the option of having gas delivered? Mind-blown.
