As if those Amazon dash buttons weren’t bad enough...
« on: November 19, 2017, 04:32:54 AM »
I’ve always thought the whole concept of Amazon Dash was pretty silly (where you press a button to automatically reorder a product), but at least they’re usually for essentials like laundry detergent. Well, now you can get a button for an $18 box of surprise sweets. Yep, $18 worth of sweets that you don’t even get to pick out. I can’t imagine wanting to purchase this once, let alone so often that I need a special button for it.

I have a great weakmess for sweets, but 18 USD is a LOT. And no guarantee for getting my favorites. No way anyone would want to use this option.

Aldi to the rescue. Lots of sweets for cheap. Some of it is kind of European i.e. not overly sweet.

It's kind of like those food subscription services, but then on demand. I think this would work better with something like dinner. 1 press is a surprise dinner delivered from a random local restaurant. Also sweets are more like a thing you want instantly not in 3-5 days.

Don't want to give any enterprising entrepreneur ideas that will wreck my food budget.

Y'all just wait until your having a disagreement with your spouse and the Amazon or Google one button device takes sides suddenly...

This would so awesome!  Especially, if they guaranteed a different meal each time?   (And incredibly dangerous!!  I agree, delete! =)

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
