Acura "Luxury, Luxury" Commercial

I almost never watch TV, but we've been watching basketball this weekend and this commercial has been playing NONSTOP.

"You get out of your luxury bed, put on your luxury watch" blah blah blah. My favorite part though is "Luxury Sugar". WTF?

Yeah, I saw that commercial this weekend.  I kept waiting for the punchline, only to find they were playing it straight.  Blew me away - IMO the marketing team is pretty out of touch on that one.  Even if I was willing to drop that kind of money on a car, I'd feel guilty buying one after watching that.

I saw that commercial too!!  Sadly, I know many people like this that just want the best of everything, even if it's something they don't particularly value (like sugar).  It's seems to play heavily into their self worth.
