Pay Christmas Bills with a Tax Refund Loan
« on: December 25, 2016, 10:12:31 AM »
Instead of keeping a Christmas savings stash, take out a loan on your tax refund, with interest, and fees, oh, and the government may not pay it out on time. To the writer's credit, the article attempts to talk people out of it, instead of saying they need a face punch. Or... just don't buy presents.

But then what would I use to make a down-payment on my new car in the spring!?

I know people who will do this unfortunately.  I guess suggesting opening a Christmas Club to handle presents is out of the question for those types...Eesh...

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
