70's Hearthrob David Cassidy can't live on $12,000/ month...
« on: January 31, 2017, 12:19:57 PM »
"The child star listed his assets as his $3 million Fort Lauderdale home, two properties in the Bahamas that he bought for $387,000 each, a 2009 Chevrolet Corvette, a 2004 Lexus with an unknown value, $120 in cash and $3,000 in bank accounts.

He also said he has $20,000 in furniture, nearly $500,000 in retirement accounts, $30,000 interest in a tax refund, and $94,000 owed in his legal victory against Sony for unpaid royalties from The Partridge Family.

His debts, however, include an $855,000 line of credit on his Florida home, $803,000 on the first mortgage on the home, $21,000 in American Express bills, more than $150,000 owed to lawyers and a $292,000 Wells Fargo personal line of credit.

He said that his average income monthly is $12,500, but his expenses top out at $27,772 - leaving in $15,000 in debt every month."

Wow.   I had no idea he actually made such bank, but I wasn't around in the 70s and only know him from reruns.  Also something about Marky Mark making a David Cassidy thread is remarkable, though not ironic.

Doesn't he have a successful child?  I'm kind of tired of these guys making so much money, spending so much money, then reneging on their debts.  Also, David Cassidy was the coolest in the Partridge Family!  I loved him!  So much better than Danny or Reuben.

I just hope he loses his cars and has to stay off the roads forever.  Too many drunk driving arrests in my neck of the woods.

Maybe you're thinking of his famous father, Jack Cassidy?

Yeah, David Cassidy was a real fox in his day! Not a bad voice either. Too bad what's happened to him.

Danny is cooler now days. He's got a radio program on KZOK here in Seattle, The Danny Bonaduce and Sara Morning Show. A hilariously audacious guy he is. I guess he's gotten into loads of trouble with drugs and booze and misdoings over the years, but makes good use of his experiences as fodder for the show.

Nope, his daughter is an actress.

That feathered hair, with a mullet in the back was the best hairstyle ever.  I had that same hairstyle (i'm a girl) well into 8th grade, so maybe I'm biased, but it was just so cute on him.

He was a mess for a while there.  But I remember some years ago Danny got married to someone he wanted to have a one-night stand with and the woman said she wouldn't have sex until marriage -- so he married her that night.  As I recall, it worked out pretty well and they were still married a few years later and he credited her with getting him sober.  Are they still together?

Back to David (or Keith Partridge as I prefer to remember him), I noticed his wikipedia page STILL shows his Partridge Family-era photo.  Now THAT's evidence of living in the past.  too bad for him.

I believe he's on his third wife, a much younger woman. So two divorces...great experiences for his Life Coach radio segment.

The feathered hair back in the 70s was so awesome! Really showed off the sexy softness and body of youthful hair. A guy with a good feathered haircut, rrrrrooowww! you just wanted to run your fingers through it!

So if he sold off his FL home he could pay off what he owes and still have over a million net worth.

I'm not feeling sorry for him.

Wait, he's making it on 12k-ish a month and Johnny Depp is blowing through two mil/ month and can't make ends meet? Maybe Cassidy can open a financial consulting business for aging actors.
