I dunno, but the dust mop slippers look like a great multi-tasking tool.  Sweep a little with every step.  I have hardwood floors and cats, so the need to sweep and dust is never ending.  Get the dust pan on a stick to go with the slippers, and never bend over!

No!  It cuts slices that are a fixed thickness, and that'ss almost certainly not going to be the thickness I want my bananas sliced.  What the world really needs is an ADJUSTABLE banana slicer!

Ahaha, I was thinking the same thing. I just wasn't sure whether that still puts me as lazy for wanting to multi-task sweeping while just walking around my place.

Re: the electric scissors, I've never used them, but I usually see them in the context of sewing. Perhaps they just make a more reliably smooth cut.

I admit that puzzles me.  Surely the point of toast is that it should be at least warm?  But then, I've never really gotten used to the idea of pre-toasted stuffing for the Thanksgiving turkey...

  I want the slippers!  I will admit to having cleaned many a floor by throwing a damp towel on the floor and "mopping" w/ my feet.  I do think the book holder might be good for someone who is actually disabled.  Years ago I had carpal tunnel and a piched nerve in my neck - reading comfortably was hard.  But the guy in the looks paralyzed.
  Oh, pre-toasted bread does sound funny, but it is actually a normal food in my world.  My family is Dutch and I grew up eating rusk - basically a hard, crispy bread (aka pre-toasted) that lasts a really long time b/c it is dried (I think they used it to feed sailors.)

I tend to go on canning frenzies,  where I'll have every burner on the stove going and the campstove going on the backyard with the pressure canners going on it.  these days are 10-12 hours of constant rushing to keep everything flowing smoothly.  Sometimes it's not the attention span so much as the lack of time to get around to stirring.

Fair enough. Something like canning seems a lot more likely to make special tools useful. Especially if you're doing a ton of it at a time.
