Anyone else watch "Rich Bride, Poor Bride"?

I ran out of Gail Vaz-Oxlade shows (Til Debt Do Us Part, Money Moron, Princess) so now I watch Rich Bride, Poor Bride as a warning of what not to do.

The amount of money that these people spend on weddings BLOWS MY MIND. And the comments, like "Well budgets are just a number, it doesn't matter" or "Nothing matters more than this wedding! I don't care about debt!!" are mind boggling as well.

As much as I feel bad for the couples on the show, I appreciate that it keeps me in line.

No, I didn't know about this show!  I like her 'Til Debt Do Us Part show, though I rarely catch it.

I love "Til Debt Do Us Part" but if you REALLY want to see some out of control spending, "Princess" is the show for you!

I haven't watched the show but I've got first hand experience in this... GF relatives in LA.

Spent over 250k on the wedding/party.  Parents paid for it all... and get this... the parents went in debt (because they paid for it), then got a divorce because of money a year later... how ironic.

We're not too big on the marriage thing, but if/when we do... it will be something super small and under $10k.

That is a sad and crazy story!

My friend's bf's brother just had a 60k wedding. Two months later, he is now claiming bankruptcy! Crazy. The things people do just blow my mind.
