$6 poop. Literally.
« on: December 15, 2014, 11:11:51 PM »
Apparently on Black Friday, Cards Against Humanity sold people $6 boxes of poop. Poop.

They made $180,000.

Edit: Turns out they only made $6,000 and donated it all to Heifer International. Yay!

I bought some. Hasn't arrived yet.

I've spent more than that on poop. But I try very hard to make sure I have enough compost so I don't have to anymore.

Well, bottled water, canned air...  This seems like a natural progession.  Next up:  dust and regular dirt.  Potting soil?  No, just dirt.  Some shitty old dirt you'd find beside a gravel driveway or swept up from somebody's back patio.

Women do this all the time, but they call them "hand bags" instead of poop.

Men do this all the time, but it's called a "Porsche" instead of poop.

Hey. HEY! HEY ASSHOLE! Where can I get a Porsche for $6? Thanks!

(Shouldn't this be in the opposite forum, considering the company mocks black friday? Last year instead of a black friday discount, they had a black friday surcharge.)

LOL!

The Antimustacian part was that people bought the $6 poop. Even some of our own bought it! :-O

Thanks for the reminder, gotta go check the mail!

How is buying exactly what I want anti-Mustachian?  Paying for a fun joke where the profits go to charity?  Sounds pretty great to me.  ;)

You would have been better to donate your money directly to Heifer, only $0.20 of your $6 actually went to the charity.

I already have my own charities I support.  I wanted the poop, not to donate the money.  That was a side effect decided by the company, not me.

Clearly there is an obvious lack of understanding of the spirit of Cards Against Humanity in the forum.

I will leave it at that since humor is subjective.

With all the free dog and cat poop out there, not to mention the kind you generate yourself, you paid $6 for some? That's like buying a $6 Starbucks drink when coffee is pouring from the sky. :)

Our cats do generate a fair amount of poop that goes straight to the garbage.

I don't like coffee. But if the Cards Against Humanity people were selling some for a few bucks, I'd buy it.

Hopefully it isn't poop flavored. Then again, that might improve the taste of coffee.

It should be mentioned that the Poop move was a unique protest against the lunacy of Black Friday.  Additionally, poop was the only thing you could get from their site on that day.

It gets even better.  This $6 poop is worth money on ebay.  I bought 2 of them in hopes that maybe it wasn't ACTUALLY poop, or maybe it came with something fun.  It didn't. It was just poop.  So I resold them on Ebay for $13 a piece.
