Here I thought this was a very clever fund raising initiative for a homeless shelter or a soup kitchen.

It's a music festival, being gouged is part of the experience: tickets, accommodations, parking, food, drinks, "service charges", etc. Another part of the experience are the crowds, waiting in line for everything.
As you can probably tell music festivals aren't my thing. Tomorrow I'm headed to the high Sierras for a few days of solo camping and hiking in beautiful wilderness. Campsite cost: $0

$350?! How do I get into the cardboard tent selling business?
-
I had to google cardboard tents just to see what they look like.
-
Ouch. And also - cardboard tent + rain = ???4
Really - 1 in 4 people just leave their tents behind after camping? Is this true? I've never noticed this to be the case at campgrounds. Maybe music festivals are different (I've never been to one).

For that kind of money they better just buy me a cheap fabric tent from Walmart... Or better yet, I'll bring my own. Cardboard tents sound very hot and stuffy.
