Datsusara (alternatively
dassara) 脱サラ
This is a Japanese word that means roughly "to abandon one's day job [in order to follow a dream / be one's own boss]".
Obviously, people have been doing this forever, with or without any money saved up. But it's a nice addition to our vocabulary, along with e.g
FFLC (which really needs a more catchy name).
