Your Favorite AirBnB Pads

In my never ending quest to promote how great AirBnB is, I'd figured I post a couple links to some of the places I've stayed at.   Add more if you'd like....there are some intresting places out there

Santa Barbara, Ca :   Not cheap but considering motel 6 is the same price I think I did ok! http://airbnb.com/rooms/1417530

Aptos, Ca:   This made a great long weekend roaptrip

Moselle Valley, Germany:   Doris and Erik are still good pen pal friends

Wow those places look great, thanks for sharing! Almost makes me wish I needed somewhere to stay when I visit Santa Barbara, although my friend's house is awesome too. :)

Our favorites so far that were through AirBnB and not other websites:

Gent, Belgium:

Maybe not the cheapest option, but compared to the nearby hotels it's still a good value even for 2 people, with more it would get even better, and the place itself was great!

Profondeville, Belgium:

Again probably not the cheapest around and it's not one where you get the whole place to yourself, but we were about ready to move in with them permanently. For the forseeable future, when I need to "go to my happy place" in my mind, it will be sitting out on that back patio, looking out at the huge lawn, the trees and the chickens, breathing the fresh grassy air and enjoying a nice Belgian brew. Hubby agrees. (They also feed you an amazing breakfast every day, we got quite spoiled.)

I've stayed at these two so far:

https://www.airbnb.ca/rooms/2549969 Great, bustling part of Vienna, close to transit, grocery store right below. Big fan.

https://www.airbnb.ca/rooms/326513 Funky mostly pedestrian street in Budapest, maybe two blocks at most from the danube, and on a ton of tram and metro lines. Grocery stores just down the street, super gorgeous old building. Loved it.

We stayed here for a weekend last winter and loved it.  It's in between Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks.  There's a killer sauna, really nice tub, really nice shower (separate from the tub), and a fireplace.  There's no TV, and you're not supposed to stream off of their wi-fi, but they have books galore, tons of board games, and a huge chalkboard wall with lots of colored chalk.  It's great.  Seriously worth it just for the sauna.  (although I don't recall paying as much as is listed on this AirBnB listing (& I think we booked through homeaway), but it may be seasonal)

We loved this place in Huskisson - South Coast of NSW, Australia. Unfortunately they've become so popular and their prices have doubled (or more) :( Hopefully they'll be cheaper again next winter.

We stayed at this apartment in Toronto, Canada, while we were there for my son's wedding. I would absolutely recommend it. It has two bedrooms plus a den with a futon. Can easily sleep 5 people. https://www.airbnb.ca/rooms/3084330
