Which credit card program mirrors Chase ultimate rewards the closest

As much as I hate to leave the chase program we are closely approaching 5/24 and need to broaden our horizons.  My wife currently has 1 spot open under 5/24 which I really wanted to fill with a Chase Sapphire Reserve card but she got a sign up bonus on her Sapphire Preferred card about 13 months ago and chase has limited everyone to one bonus on a sapphire card for every 24 months. This rule really sucks by the way!  So my question is who has the next best credit card rewards program when it comes to ease of redeeming points and the value you get on travel.  I love the tier base point discount chase offers with their different credit cards.  I'd really like to find another program that prices travel about the same as Ultimate Rewards.  If it matters both my wife and I can sign up for business cards. I currently have 3 spots open under 5/24 but I'm saving two for southwest at the first of next year and then I'd be able to sign up for a sapphire preferred card in 04/19.

If you value being under 5/24, I'd recommend business cards before your next round of Chase stuff (basically anything non-CapitalOne won't be on your personal credit report I think).  Amex has a lot of good business cards.  See if their partner airlines/hotels work for your plans (this is mostly accurate: https://www.uscreditcardguide.com/wings-points-points-miles-transfer-chart-amex-chase-citi-spg-marriott/ ).

I don't think either of them have the same Chase travel portal, but the Schwab AMEX card and the USBank Aspire (I think?) card both have similar rewards packages and AFs.

Citi has a travel portal for their TYP. It's similar to Chase's portal.

I don't use the portal that much and that's where Citi TYP lacks. Chase UR has a lot more transfer partners.

+1 to business cards for a while.  You should be able to get a good amount of Amex MR points.

Grab the Citi AA Business card as well and you should have plenty of AA miles for a trip to Hawaii or Europe.
