what we can learn from Ramit

I know Ramit is at odds with the Mustachian lifestyle but he still has very important lessons to teach that MMM does not cover. We have a lot to learn from him and using his lessons would benefit the community a lot. A balance of extreme savings and earning would serve us better then just one or the other.

Agreed, I actually don't really find IWTYTBR at odds with Mustachian very much. I really enjoy his blog posts, and have taken a couple of his courses. I think his Earn1K class is extremely valuable, and more so when combined with Mustachian concepts. Earn1K gives lots of practical advice on how to start freelancing in a way that is not intimidating. MMM talks about using your time to earn money doing something you enjoy/care about. They're both about lifestyle design.
