I have a 2008 Pontiac Solstice. It's a fun little daily driver for South Florida. I've got some mods I'd like to install: vertical doors, a luggage rack, different stereo with a navigation system, dashcam, cup holder (OEM commonly fails on this model), a new arm rest, remote start, wind blocker, seat covers, and ceramic coating. Maybe a couple of other things... but I figure 5,000 out the door for all of this is pretty realistic I think. The doors at 1500 are the biggest cost.
It's a fun little car, and while I'm not driving much right now, it makes the worst part of my day better. Funny thing is I spend waay less than 10k for the car, and have only put another thousand into it for a new computer. So with the cost of the car in mind, the mods are going to cost more than half what I paid, which seems a little dumb, except I've resigned myself to keeping the car and enjoying it while I can still get in and out of it without trouble.
