Is this a wall oven or a range?

I have had good experiences with Lowe's - I buy most of our appliances through them. They price match (and will give an extra 10% on top of that), have sales all the time, will do delivery (for free usually) and offer installation and pickup alongside that. They're just very easy to deal with. You can also go in store and find good deals on open-box or slightly dented/damaged appliances.

FWIW I think Home Depot does the exact same thing, there are just more Lowe's in my area.

I've bought appliances at Home Depot, Lowes, and Best Buy.

All are fine; pick the one with the best sale price. For me, BestBuy seems to win slightly more of my business than the other two, probably because their website is a little easier for me to navigate, so I tend to reward them with the "tie goes to the easier website" policy.

We've always done well with Sears.  Their Kenmore brand models are often well rated (check Consumer Reports), they have sales regularly, and give further discounts for paying with a Sears card.  Delivery is free or cheap, and they'll haul the old one away.

My mom bought a glass top oven/range 10 years ago for under $400 this way (list was probably $550-600).  It has turned out to be very good quality, with the oven more accurate and consistent than some very fancy, high dollar ones.

I have used both Sears and Lowe's and done well. I would worry about counterparty risk with the Sears warranty.

We have a Sears outlet in town that sells scratch and dent for about half off.  Who cares if the side or back of your range has a scratch when it is hidden behind cupboards and counters?  Apparently, enough people to keep the outlet store fully stocked at all times with perfectly good name brand appliances with slight cosmetic defects that nobody will ever see.

Sears, Lowes, or Home Depot. There are change of address coupons for Home Depot for 10% off, if you can get your hands on one.

One of my friend has recently purchased from Sears Outlet. I have also heard good reviews about Lowe's. You can check out these two sites.

The big box stores all have pretty similar stuff. It all depends on what's on sale when you want to buy.

We ended up buying a dishwasher from hhgregg because they had much better delivery times available. (They also had a free installation deal, and when I said I was having our plumber do it because we had some other work for him at the same time, they knocked $100 off the price.)

Might have to pull back on my Sears recommendation..A lot of whispers they might be filing for bankruptcy before the years out, at least there brick and mortar stores.

+1 for Sears outlet. You can also pay for delivery and they take away the old appliances.

I'm gonna be really sad if Sears Craftsman dies.

I have a fifteen year old mower that owes me nothing.

Just FYI... Craftsman/Kenmore aren't brands.  They're re-brands of other stuff you can buy elsewhere.

I know but they were once carefully chosen and I was sure if I bought something from them it would last. I think buying the home Depot version I am rolling the dice.

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
