:)  I was born late-1970s, and I've had one job that involved punch cards.

I wonder, how old do you have to be to know about punching in and out?  I figure people ten years younger than me look at things like rotary phones and wonder what they are...

Beloit College (Beloit, WI) does a 'Mindset List' every year of things new students know and have never known;

Sure! Get the "gif download" code (it's in the advanced options) and then click the little icon that looks like a photo in the message area - it's the first option right under the "B" for bold text. Then paste the code in the img bracket code.

I punched a clock when I was 14. I was born in '82.

I used a punch card in UK in 2010 for an office job and the general manager sat at a desk next to the punch clock.  He made sure you didn't punch the card for your coworker even though they were standing next to you.  It was a small privately owned company of 15-20 people.

I last used a punch card in New Zealand in 1998 for a warehouse job.

Front desk staff where I work currently punch in and out. Last year, they upgraded to a fancier one that shows the time in digital format on an LCD screen, but it's still a punch clock.

I'm aware of one very large global company where every single employee (all the way up to the President) punches a time clock every day.

1998, though it was an RFID Card and the "Punch Clock" was digit. Does that count? :)

Born in '79.  I used a punch clock at the local screen printing place I worked at for 3-4 years in high school.  I believe they still use it today.

Yesterday my supervisor got mad at me because I didn't remember something from a month and a half ago. Never mind that what he was asking could be looked up in twenty seconds in our system. Never mind that somebody else actually handled most of it. Never mind that I was excluded from the conversation where he asked about it.

This is the same waffle-head who didn't say a %$#! word when I brought in $400,000 in grant funding.

Yeah, I'm tired of my job. And bitter. Enough to punch a clock if I could.
