This board is known for facepunching! It is to get peoples attention, as in,
"HEY YOU ARE DOING IT WRONG."
In one of my responses to you, I listed several things you needed to do, I got no feedback or acknowledgement you even looked at the links I posted.
Then after more of your complaints posts, I posted that complaining is easy, taking the advice and actually moving toward a goal is hard.
If you leave, you missed the whole point.
But that's why there is zero reason to have concern about everyone retiring and the economy collapsing, clearly not everyone can do it.
I might add, most do not register and then have such a flurry of posts, I read every single post of the blog before I ever posted to the forum.
So go back to the blog, start at the beginning and read them all. Read through the forum.
You need to earn more money, that means you need to develop a skill that someone will pay you for. Figure out what that is and stick to it, don't change your mind mid term, without a great reason. If you can stay home to reduce costs, that's a plus. If you can make your life about working, you will create a headwind. Take on two jobs or one job and training.
Oh to be single, living with low costs, and no one to support.
Back in 1982 the median family income was $24,300, my wife and I earned $18,000 and saved $6,000. That was paying for all of our own expenses.
If it is important to you, you can do it. The solution is in every choice you make.
