The Regular Show, fans of MMM?

My kids just started watching a show originally aired on the Cartoon Network, called "The Regular Show".

In an episode called Mordecai and the Rigbys, the two main characters start a band, and of the names they suggest, one is Facepunch and one is Mustache Cash Stash...coincidence???? LOL

the show is hilarious and totally crazy. my kids and I love it. thought it was so funny about the bandnames...

Just the former, I'd say definitely a coincidence.  Just the latter I'd say very probably a coincidence.  Both does raise an eyebrow a little.

That episode aired November 22, 2010 (source). The first MMM blog post was posted April 6, 2011. If anything, then, it was the other way around. Still seems like one of those weird coincidences, especially considering MMM isn't much of one for television.

Wow... I actually watched this episode (it popped up in my recommendations... not sure why; I wasn't a fan), and it did not even occur to me. Good catch!
