Today is my birthday:)

I turn 30 today, and seeing a 'three' in front of my age is a little shocking.

I know that age is just a number, but my age does make me reflect today. We are only on this Earth for a short time, and to make the most of it. Well I definitely don't consider myself to be a great mustachian and have a lot to work on (spendypants vacations, eating out all the time), I am so thankful for finding this blog and the forum. It helps me to reflect on what's important, and what I need to work on to make the most of my time. My husband and I couldn't, and wouldn't, have done nearly what we have without the help of the wonderful people on this forum.

Happy b-day!  If it makes you feel better, I also struggled with turning the big 3-0.  I'm 35 now and still feel like I'm in my 20's. :)

Fortunately, after 30 I can't say I've cared as much above the next digit.  Having said, ask me again in 5 years :)

Reminds me of a conversation I heard at the health club the other day.  There were a few old men talking.  One guy says "geez I'm old, I'm 60 now!"  The other guy says "wait til you're 80 years old like me, then you'll wish you were 60!!".

It's all relative.  I'm so thankful for my health and life even in my 40's.  I'm looking forward to kicking ass in my 50's and 60's cause I'll still be young.  Maybe I'll think I'm old when I'm in my 90's. :)
