Taking FIRE from Individual Practice to Group Policy
« on: January 22, 2020, 10:54:07 AM »
Sometimes the term "movement" connected to FIRE strikes me as odd, because we aren't pushing for systematic change collectively as much as responding to a broken system individually. Depression babies were frugal, but I wouldn't say it was a movement. Their spending habits may have led to a change in product offerings, but not necessarily in an intended direction.

If FIRE were an intentional social movement in the traditional sense and we were all marching the streets, what would we be demanding to help those we've seen suffer injustice?
