As you may know the American Rescue Plan got rid of the 400% FPL income cap for ACA subsidies and gives more generous amounts based on a revised formula, but that was only for 2021 and 2022.  Part of "Bidencare" was to make these changes permanent.  Joe Machin has some problems with the Build Back Better BBB and has for the most part killed off most of it. But it looks like it may still happen.  They need to do this NOW or it will be too late.

"Manchin told Majority Leader Chuck Schumer he’s only willing to support legislation to lower prescription drug prices and extend enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies, the people said. "

And according to some of the articles that I've read on this, the subsidies would be extended for only two years:

"Manchin is open to letting Medicare negotiate prescription drugs prices and to extending enhanced Affordable Care Act subsidies for two years, one of the sources said, which suggests that's all Democrats are likely to get in the package."
