Side / Weekend jobs do-able from home?
« on: July 23, 2016, 10:20:39 AM »
Any relatively stable, easy enough jobs to do from home? I know people on here have talked about writing e-books (I can't write), selling extra stuff no longer used (I have none), even one person digitized old texts that are copyright free. I don't really know where to get started looking

Become a dyslexia tutor.  There is a program called Barton Reading & Spelling that is designed for parents and other non-teachers to teach kids with dyslexia to read.  The nearest tutor in my HCOL area charges $60/hr.  Students need to do a minimum of 2 hours per week.  I'm sure there are plenty of working parents for whom a tutor available on the weekend would be ideal.  You would need to commit to a consistent schedule with your students, but it's good money for a side gig.

Do you know how to sew or do alterations?

Wow, a phone plan for fifteen bucks!
