Well, if you have seen any of my other posts, you would know that I just left a job of 5 years in the Industrial Engineering industry and had obtained a job as PM in the Telecommunications industry.
I currently make a salaried wage of $72,800 annually. The work is plentiful and I am getting along well with everyone in the company. We have about 50 engineers and office staff and they are all hardworking and intelligent individuals. I know I can learn a lot working here working for actual P.E.s. The one downfall is the commute, being about 45-60 minutes one way.
I have an interview for a metal fabricating business down the road from my house. If they offer me the same or maybe more, would it be wise to consider an offer? I do like where I am working now but being closer to home, especially with a baby on the way, would be great.
