So Mint saw we were spending more than $100 a month on groceries and suggested we start saving money with SavingStar, how exciting! Anyways, I went to their website (SavingStar.com) and it seems to be a e-coupon site that is tied to your loyalty cards, but instead of giving you the savings immediately you have to rack up $5 of savings and they'll send you the money through various methods. Has anybody used this? Is it worthwhile? I barely use any coupons because I stay out of the center aisles as much as possible. It seems that most coupons anymore are for horribly processed foods or cleaning supplies (I make my own).
