Maybe you guys have heard of this already but I just came across this website:

It's a peer to peer car sharing network that allows people to rent out there rides to others when it's not being used.  This is great if you're like me and you ride your bike 95% of the time but like to keep a car around for the occasional trip.  Alternatively, it's a great option for someone without a car that only needs one occasionally.  Call me crazy but I feel like this could change the world by significantly reducing the number of cars we have in our lives.  Imagine if 10% of people signed up.  There would always be a car within walking distance.  Bust out your smartphone and find the closest vehicle!

Interesting concept. From scanning it, looks like the daily rates to rent are hirer than renting a new car from Avis, Enterprise, etc.  Interesting to rent by the hour.

I agree the rates same high but I like the concept of it.  It looks like they take 40% of every rental which seems excessive but maybe it will become more efficient cost wise over time.
