Has anyone here done this certification?
If so, any recommendations for learning resources?

I have and used different resources but I'd recommend starting with trailhead
https://trailhead.salesforce.com/en/trails
Filter for admin then beginner and look for the "Admin Beginner" trail. Start with that and complete all the other trails in this page, then filter for intermediate. The admin certification covers beginner to intermediate.

Thank you ayaparis!
Do you have to resit the exam every year to keep your accreditation?
I am now working on salesforce in work amongst other things, so I am keen to get an accreditation for learning the system.

How much does the test cost?
Many of these compute out to $10+ a month just to keep certified. I don't know if I'd do many unless I could expense it to a company.

For Admin I certificate, they are $200 initially. If you fail, you may retake for $100 each try.
Maintaining a cert is $100. If you have multiple certifications, i.e. 5, you will only have to pay for three and the rest is free. The maintenance is basically reading the updates and quiz about the new updates.

Also consider the ROI if you land a SFDC gig.

Thanks :)
I currently am following a study guide video course. 12 hours. Bit of a slog... but I will get there.
I am a web developer by trade, but this will be a good extra on my resume, and will make me more valuable in my company also...
