Riide referral thread
« on: February 15, 2016, 11:37:20 PM »
I don't know if there is even a demand for Riide bicycles on this forum, but they have the free helmet deal right now if you use someone's referral link.

Does anyone know if there is already a chain started?  If so, I'll delete this.

If not, here's my link!

I was considering this bike before I got my bike(haibike xdur of rx29). But then the price jumped up, and they had bikes available to rent, but not to buy as the ones you could buy were sold out,  even though they were the same thing . I didn't like how they started running their company and the bosch mid drive in the haibike is way better anyway and worth the premium price

The way I understand it is they are now doing a "rent to own" type setup.

Though the Bosch selection is impressive.

I like that bike, and their rent to own is a good idea as well. I hope  the company will last, so many Ebike companies have gone belly up, I do feel now is the "time " for Electrics.

There will be issues with the bike, I wonder how they will deal with that. I really dont like that you have to take the entire bike inside to charge, and I wonder how it will be on San Fran hills. Still no one Ebike can work for everyone, If someone gets one they should post a review.

I had saw a review of it that said it was $1800, it turned out to be only available by a rent to own or whatever and it ended up costing a lot more so I didn't like the setup
