Phones and Phone Plans for Teens

These phone bills are ridiculous for 3 teens. We bought our daughter one of the Stra*ightTalk phones at W*lmart. The phone wasn't that much, but the monthly charge of $45 is too much--she just doesn't use it that much, and I need to find her something cheaper. Our teen boys are on V*rizon and use theirs a lot. What can I get for my daughter where the monthly charge is just not very much? I don't want a contract.

republic wireless, can get a moto e for a $100 or the moto g for $150, and $10 monthly unlimited texting and calling with no data and no contract
or if she uses some data, you can up it to $25 a month with 3G data, "unlimited"

Definitely read the I.P. Daily Guide as it helped me out quite a bit when I was looking for phone service for my daughter. In the end I bought a used I Phone off ebay and activated it with Ting and have been pleasantly surprised. The service works but I'm more impressed with their website and their phenomenal customer service (some of the best customer service of ANY product I've ever used/bought). My daughter is a light user so she is the only one in the family on Ting as it beat even a work subsidized ATT extra line plan.
