Hey, thanks for setting these up MMM (Mrs. MM, actually, I'd imagine), I hope they end up as a good, fun, resource. Judging from article comments, you should be off to a great start as soon as people find this today. Just stay out ahead of spam, it can be annoying until you get everything set up properly, I know.

I have been following MMM for a few weeks, and have probably read about half of his posts. The comments from the MMM community are exceptional, I hope we can keep it this way! There are so many mustachian muscles I am working to strengthen, frugal living, debt payment, savings, exercise, nutrition, avoiding alcohol. But I'm doing them all at once! No regrets, this is a better way of life than spending like there is no tomorrow and being stuck in the quicksand of debt forever.

P.S. I can't seem to find a button or link from the forums area back to the MMM blog itself - is this missing or am I missing something?

I noticed this as well.

IMO, the banner/picture at the top should lead to the site homepage, rather than forum homepage, or at least a link to the site homepage added at the top.

Many thanks to both Mr and Mrs MM for taking the time and effort in starting a forum! I'm sure it will involve more work and headache on your part, hopefully the community following the blog can step up and shoulder some of the load to make this place great.

Regarding the link back to the blog, maybe the top banner should lead back to the blog rather than the forum? There is a lot of navigation within the forum, but I agree there should be something to get back to the blog.

Yeah! I think the forum is a great idea...a lot of times I wanted to join in on the comment party, but wasn't sure if what I had to say fit the topic of the particular article. This is going to be a great resource. Looking forward to meeting other Mustachians too! :)

That's a good point. I'm sure a lot of us have ideas that may not fit within a comment to a certain blog post, or it's relevant to something posted six months ago, where likely no one will see the comment.

The ongoing discussion on a forum presents much more possibilities.

And could even give MMM a few blog post ideas. ;)

Initially I didn't catch on to the ERE idea, but then I realized establishing this means I can work whenever and where ever the eff I want and manuever myself to be the best that I can be without being enslaved to the needs of reality. Hence, I have recently found MMM (last month) and am working my way through all the posts. I think I'm up to July 2011. Thank you!
